On May 20, 2016 I made these promises to you in front of our kids, friends, and the powers that be.  Still true today…

“Heather Renee, I love you. I love you so deeply and fully…I didn’t know this kind of love was possible. But I hoped it was. Now you’ve shown me it is possible. And today I have the honor of making you my wife.

I’ve chosen you to spend the rest of my life with. I promise to honor that. I promise to love you unconditionally for who you are now and for who you may become. I promise to trust in your love for me.

I promise to be your best friend, laugh with you in good times and cry with you and support you in hard times.

Together with all these kids we’ve made a new family. I promise to be the best husband, father, and step father I can be and to provide an example to our kids of what true love and commitment look like.

Heather Renee, I love you. And I promise to love you with all of my heart forever.”
